Thank you Moonriddengirl, I am still learning the Wiki ways and standards and I appreciate your advice and assistance. I will make your recommended edits. Thank you, Scalhotrod (talk) 20:07, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Moon, I have just done a fairly large overhaul on the article to address the various issues. I discovered that the text reference on the website was reprinted from 2 printed newsletters, so hopefully that clears up a significant portion of the problems. I have also added references throughout the entire article. Again, thank you for your input, assistance, and your patience with me. Scalhotrod (talk) 22:55, 12 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Copyedit for 2010-2011[edit]

I have just copy-edited "Peninsula Banjo Band" for the WP:GOCE, to fix punctuation and format concerns from 2010-2011, then untagged {copyedit ..Sept.2010}. There were many minor changes for the WP:MOS guideline, but most of them put the preferred straight apostrophe (" ' ") where curved apostrophes had been used. Some sentences were reworded where it seemed the text had been jumbled or in run-on sentences. Over the years, other editors might have hacked the text, so it is helpful to proofread an article every few months, to check for awkward insertions or outdated information. Many thousands of articles have had similar issues. -Wikid77 (talk) 14:03, 25 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

COI[edit]

Since this article has been tagged for COI, I will state that I have donated my time and volunteered with this group since it is a 501-c-3 organization. I openly welcome other contributors and editors to clean up any issues regarding the style and tone of the text and will make the effort to correct anything that I identify. I consider myself a steward of this article.

Please keep in mind that this article was one of my earliest efforts here on WP and as such probably could do with some review. --Scalhotrod - Just your average banjo playing, drag racing, cowboy... (talk) 19:04, 29 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
